The 52 that a customer and friend, now retired, wanted to do himself came back for a few tweaks; shifter rattle and valve cover leak, so as he had installed the bed floor I snapped a couple of pics. All in all not bad for a baking flour salesman. He preserved many of the factory parts like the steering column, cowl vent, those &%$# tail gate chains, etc. I like the Blazer fuel tank, tank filler, and the one piece plywood bed floor. Strips are held down with oval head wood screws and wood is fastened to the crossmembers from below with wood screws---very clean looking. The paint is bright red base coat with three coats of clear with flattener in it for a primer like appearance. Took him a year in which he fell in love with the plasma cutter, mig, and small lathe while wearing us into a frazzle with questions, questions, questions. I think he's just a little proud of himself.

And a few more that show a close up of column mod, shift linkage, and his 10 minute alternator bracket.

Nice Truck !

I'd say he has reason to be proud of it .

I'd like it shiny but he paid so he gets to choose...
