There you go then . The grommets are, IMO, important as the contacts work by vibrating, this is why regulators die or need service after a few years . If you take the regulator and grommet plus the steel tube and so on to the hardware store, they'll have new grommets in the drawers of little bits and bobs . ? Arwn't you having a swell time with all this minutiae ? .
