what works best when treating oak bed planks, and what do you put on them for a glossy finish ??

By the way, this is how I did my boards and is not the recommened method of Mar-k or Bruce Horkey who have their own methods for finishing. But it works for me! Hope this helps Rick

Great looking bed. Actually the whole truck is fine. Nice web site too. I never thought of machine buffing the finish on my new bed wood. Makes me want to open the box and get started but that is a ways off. Still working on the '69 stepside chassis. Thanks for the tips.
