C10 to Scottsdale

It's time to replace a door, a fender, tailgate and cut-out the cab corners on the truck. I need yalls expertise. I have a 1985 Silverado 4 wheel drive. There is an 1987 C-10 2 wheel drive with a straight/rust free body for $1000. If those body panels will fit my truck, I can save alot of money. OEM fender-$500, door-$580, etc, etc. Do yall know, if these body panels are interchangable? thank ya.

Those cabs are pretty much the same. The floorboard will be different from 2wd to 4wd. From what you have described about the two trucks the only problem I could see would be hooking up/switching the power window/power door lock from one to another. Other than that everything should be the same. This includes the tailgate, it will fit.
