[updated:LAST EDITED ON Jul-21-03 AT 11:19 AM (CST)]I just found out that the cam in our trusty Suburban is bad.My Parents kinda Want to fix it but at a 1000 bucks they think it might be cheaper to put a new engine in it.(they wont let me do the work) I am trying to get them to sell it to me becuase my plans for that sub is to rebuild the engine whith a 383 stroker kit.so I dont think its a good idea to fix it now and then tear it apart as soon as I get some pocket change.thanks for leting me spout off.Karl :'(

northern auto has federal mogul kits starting at about 155.00 for sbc with endless upgrades available.

in previous post i was referring to complete rebuild kit for 155.00. look at summit or jegs for complete crate motors sbc about 1300.00 chevy factory stuff. local engine builders should have longblock sbc for 800.00
