I Can Imagine It But I cannot hear it over the sound of my mufflerless Chevrolet 235 ! Y'all know I have Long Motor Envy , it's pointless for me to deny it .
Hmmmm~ Brian, I read your first site, and it sounds like water vapor is THE culprit. As I read that, I can see that large metropolitan areas have a real problem with water vapor. The way it hangs in the air and causes smog warnings to be issued... We have nothing to do with that, I'm sure. Gater~ What I was trying to say about the computerized implant is, yes, there probably will come a time when government sticks it's nose into our AD tailpipes and says that we need to clean up our emissions. But hey, maybe we can get by with a grandfather clause and won't have to do diddly to our trucks. It all comes down to taking responsibility. I'll run my 228 as long as I can, but when it gives up, (or the government tells me) I will change it out to something that is as friendly to the environment as I can get. (Or the government tells me it needs to be.) Whether you can see (or smell) it or not, our original engines put out more than the computerized, modern engines do. It only makes sense to be thinking ahead. The times, they are a changin'. A hybrid AD??? Why not? It's forward thinking that will put us back to good. At least it will continue to supply us with new jobs? Just ramblin' as usual~
