    Hi All,
Over the other side of the world from you, just taken possession of an OZ built 1975 C30 tray truck, bog standard SBC350/SM465/14 bolt rear on 7.60 X 16 dual wheels. Going to be my next project.

I do have a question NOT relating to this particular truck, but in regards to earlier 1968-1972 C-trucks that came ex-factory with New Process NP435A close ratio/all synchro 4 speed boxes.

I have one of these boxes here, and am trying to find someone who may know a bit about them.
I have been told on another forum that they were in somewhat limited production, mostly camper van/school bus use. Apparently from what I can gather, Chevvy went to their own SM465 after 1972 (same as mine).

If I can find someone who knows about the NP box, am trying to substantiate if the 435A version had the 22 tooth input shaft count and also if the input shaft ran a tapered roller bearing or a ball race.

    Ratios are/were 4.56:1---2.28:1---1.31:1---1.00:1.
Trying to locate an input shaft as well as the housing to suit.

    Thanks, Dave64

May have inadvertently given the incorrect designation.
Would appear the correct one is NP435GA.
    Thanks, Dave64
