    pretty (tasty) little critters

    Nate,
"Yogi" will adorn the wall (a rug in this case), and he has been visiting the grill incrementally in steak form as well as bear-burgers. VERY tasty. "Bambi" sees the grill, the frypan, spaghetti sauce, you name it. Wild Turkey (the bird not the spirit) is rather tasty as well. Freshwater fish have visited the Deep Fryer on numerous occasions over the summer too.:D

I would be down with some grilled Yogi. We don't really have that many bears in Charlotte, unless the pro team comes to play.

Just reading about the wildlife~ Here is SW Kansas, a hunter had a camera hooked up and caught a picture of a mountain lion with a face full of deer. Pretty cool how some wildlife species are making a comeback.
When my wife, daughter and I were camping at a local lake, (Farlington) My wife and I were up early, enjoying a cup of joe. There was a nice breeze blowing in across the lake. I saw this big bird fly out of a tree on the far side of the lake and it flew right to us. As it circled right over head (about 20 feet above us) in the early morning sunlight with a bright blue sky background, the white of its head and tail, and the yellow beak and talons where breath taking to observe!
