Chevy rear glass

Hey everybody! I have a question about my rear glass. I have a regular cab 78 C10 and I can pick up a slider for it pretty cheap from craigslist but the guy lists it as for an 81-87 pick up.

How can I be sure it will fit before I buy it? I can't find any interchangeability info anywhere. Not even on the net, of course I may not be looking in the right places.

Go to the sponsor of this forum, Classic Parts, and look up a rear glass for a 78 truck and 81 through 87 trucks and see if it is the same part number.
