Slowly but surely. The engine and tranny are about ready to set in the rolling chassis. My woman bought some corvette style chrome rallys for it...she has the garage fill with new parts in boxes waiting for me to put it together... All we need is some time, a little more $$ and a little help, and it shouldn't be much longer.. I'll post some pics as I go...

This thread is approximately 3 years old...those horn rings are not the correct Custom Cab chrome horn ring assemblies for the '66 Chevy trucks. I don't know the application, but I know they are not correct for the '66 trucks.
Sorry to have to inform you, but you are wrong. 63-65 Novas used the same horn rings and steering wheel but with a different center button as the '66. The 100 series Nova had the wheel without the chrome clips for two toning like the trucks, while the other series Novas had them. The '60-'65 Custom Cab horn ring was the same horn ring used on 59-60 Bel Airs, and El Caminos, while that wheel was used on '58-'60 cars and '60-'65 custom trucks. Here are a few variations on the other type of wheel, the horn buttons/rings being the only difference.
I mispoke...I was referring to assemblies, including the horn ring, button & wheel, which comprises the complete factory-assembly, since the majority of these are peddled, as a complete assembly and rarely willing to be split up. I don't speak about the cars, because I have never owned one, but I do know, in most cases, they are described as the same assemblies, but they are not, whereas they share some of the same parts. Frequently, the buyer is looking for a button, horn ring and wheel, that are correct for the year, make & model, so the mix & match method is not an option. The last three photos are minus the horn ring, that is always part of the truck Custom chrome horn ring & button assembly, regardless of whether it is a 1960-1965 or a 1966.
