Pretty neat, thanks for sharing. But I couldn't bring myself to part with $230K to buy one, even if I had it to spend.

Very cool, but I can build that for less than half that. Basically, that is what I'm doing with the 41 f**d right now......Roadster shop chassis, 2013 mustng engine and trans, stock appearing body.

    $230,000 each:eek:

They only made 5 this year..... & they only sold 2.

Maybe there will be a price drop to liquidate this years models before they make 5 more next year. :D

    What's "Thrift" about a $230,000 Thriftmaster

I have to ask why? Must be some oil sheiks in Saudi Arabia that like our old trucks. Hard to believe the manufacturer could actually have $230,000 in this truck?

    Go figure...

If I had $230 grand for toys....

    I'd finish my '65 C10 orange crate,
and buy a mid year vette coupe,
    and buy a GT-40
and have gas & insurance money for all the above

It does look pretty good though. Maybe you get 5 of them for $230 grand?

    Lets see....
    $20k roadster shop full chassis
    $15K body/ sheetmetal
    $4K wheels/ tires
    $6k full leather interior
    $15K crate LS/trans
    $2K wiring harness/ labor
    $10K paintjob
    $5K various parts
    $20K labor
Still under $100K with high estimates.

Put prestigious name on it: $130K

    $230K total price!
