So I just registered after finally making the decission to start working on my project. One step at a time. I have a 1969 C20,2WD(obviously)pretty much everything is stock. I was considering trying to convert it to a 4X4 with a 6-8" lift but I was wondering how difficult that would be what it would involve and if there might some sort of a kit out there for it. Any help would be great, I am a little inexpierenced at this. thanks!

The easiest way to do this is to find a 4x4 frame and do a body swap.
Converting your frame requires fabricating brackets, changing out the engine crossmember, installing a transfer case, etc.
