Engine Replacement

Has anyone installed a 400 Chevy and 400 trany is their 55-59 trucks. Is there firewall modifications? What elese will need to be modified in the engine bay? Thanks

If you use standard 55-59 V8 front mounts you'll have clearance problems between an HEI and the firewall. Can be solved by using the aftermarket V8 front crossmember with engine mounts.
