Exhaust Treatment

Has anyone heard of or has done this. I saw in a catalog a product-clear high temp coating to put on exhaust systems. Is this a good idea. I have a new system to put on my 49 chev 3100.

High temp coatings work well on exhaust. I bought my headers coated, exh. temps are much lower and they cool off very quickly.
