Factory Tach wiring for 72 cheyene

I just located a cluster with the factory tach for my 72. I replaced the original distributor with a later model HEI. How do I wire up the tach?

On the back of tach-run + wire to fuse box(12v ignition source) - wire to tach terminal on hei cap(next to pos. terminal on cap) This should get you going!! greg
