Flickering Lights

My lights flicker when im driving down the road and when i push the high beam switch one of them turns off. Also when i turn them on usually only one works and i have to kick the other to get it to turn on. Any ideas would be appreciated.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Oct-02-05 AT 11:46 AM (CST)]When you turn on the high beam ? and a headlight goes out ? That headlight is burned out and needs replacing.

If that headlight is the same one that flickers, replacing the bulb may fix the problem. When you replace that headlamp, check the electrical connections. Inspect the bulb harness for frayed or broken wires and corroded terminals inside the connector. Check the ground connection off that bulb as well.
