    Sorry, I wasn't clear on my question. I knew what years they referred to but not why they have that name. From reading your replies I'm guessing because they were three most popular years of 50's Chevys?

    I should have explained more, i wasnt questioning your love of mets but when i said WHY i meant why the hell would you want to put ski's on one!!!!:D

    Well , YEAH ~

    That what drove the Metters starkers , see ~ then they found out he'd begun this project with a totally rusted out piece of scrap that was never going to drive again so why not ? .

    It's O.K. that folks think I'm crazy for my love of Mets , I don't mind atall , not one bit because I am crazy ! :p .
