frame switch

I have a 66 fleetside 3/4 ton. I have a 396 engine to put in. My question is can I put the body on a 74 camper special frame without major modifications. Let me know if anyone has advise. Thanks Mike

ive got a 66 lwb stepside.
i bought a 78 chevy lwb pu for $35.
it will work...you will have to use the old cab mount brackets....it will take about a day...the bed holes matched up the same so there wasnt any mod. there....you might have to use the old steel motor mounts...if you stick with the older motor....we are putting a newer 305 and we are going to have to put different brackets in....oh yeah you are going to have to cut some of the frame off at the front...its a little long...but other than that its all down hill...
