front license plate

This may sound like a dump question. But what is the correct placement for the front license plate braket. I got the bracket just don't know exactly where it was suppoesed to be mounted

What year truck do you have ?,as 55 and 56 the bracket mounted
above the bumper on the right hand side in front of the grill,not sure of the 57's but I believe they also mounted the same as 55-6's
but 58 and 59 brackets mounted to the center of the bumper on the bumper.

It's 57. There are no existing holes, but that is what I thought also. I guess I'll get the drill out this weekend. Thanks

Front plates

Check with your state DMV. Each state has their own ideas about how important a front plate is.
