Ha Neil, Just got back from a visit to see my sis for the holidays sorry to hear about your dad . Damn shame you only get one of them. You are correct humor help's get you past these kind of events. Our thoughts are with you & your family at this tough time.
Alright so I had another encounter with the stupid possum. I ran out of CO2 for the paintball gun so I decided hand to hand combat with the little furry rat. I grabbed the shovel and handed the flashlight to tab and told her to keep the light on'em I didn't want him to get away. He was in the dog house and the dog was going crazy trying to get him out. So I take a few stabs at the possum and hit him a few times but didn't kill it. I lunged at it once and the shovel got stuck in the back of the dog house and the crazy little possum just walked right out past me and I couldn't get my shovel unstuck in time and it trotted off into the woods. So I went and bought a BB gun and some pointed pellets so next time I'll be posting a picture with me holding down the kill. Hope I made a few laugh with my silly possum story.
From the possum's point of view, as he gave you the one finger salute as he walked by you: "And he has the nerve to call ME stupid!"
That's okay I've got something for him next time. Kinda hate to kill it, I've been feeding it some expensive food and it has a very shinny pink coat now!!!! It's kinda like the pet I never wanted.
