help needed tranny swap

hi guys ,what a great forum ,as you can tell i am new here,and i really need some help.
i have a 1989 swb,silverado 350 tbi,getrag 5 speed and a 12 bolt rear end,,
my question is
i want to take out the 5 speed and install a turbo 700(witch i have)
i need to know what modifications are necessary
if somebody has done this conversion PLEASE HELP ME OUT

Your main problem is going to be the TV cable. Check this guy out has has eliminated the TV cable on that tranny http://www.maddogtransmissions.com/ .
On my swap I had to shorten the driveshaft, add a TV cable, move the crossmember and install a lock up kit. It was very easy to do. I took my time and it took me 3 hrs.
