Good advice but popping so many pills at the moment and not one says 'hey dude, you can have a few cold ones while taking me!' on the instructions, before i had a foreign object inside me my body does'nt want, now i got two!!! and this is meant to help? crazy docs have put a tube past the stone to allow kidney to drain into bladder, my question before they did this was while your there why not pull the sucker out!!! and they said we will address the stone at a later date, the important thing now is to get your kidney drained, but by my logic the stone is stopping it draining so why not address that first and be done with it, but what do i know, im just the fool bent double and now screaming obcenities every time i go to the mens room! im getting to the point of getting the thing out myself! looking around for sharp knives and stuff lol, doctors over here are a different breed, very aloof and talk down to you, i cant for the life of me work out why you would leave the thing in there and just stop it from blocking up again, they say i should hear from them in the next few MONTHS to arrange coming back and dealing with the stone, up to 6 MONTHS is not out of the question, over here hospitals are run by burocrats who try to deal with patients as quick as possible and get them out, it means their waiting list is small and looks good on paper but you dont always get the best treatment ________ Toyota ts010
We have the best healthcare in the world but to hear our pocket lining politicians and Michael Moore talk about it you would think we were the worst. I thankfully have never had a kidney stone. I once had a gall stone that just so badly that I was telling my wife what to do in case I died before we got to the hospital. I was in and out overnight and felt like a million bucks. Let's hope things improve for you Brit. Nobody needs that much pain. Gater

ok, wont say much more on the subject cos yr all prolly getting bored with it, but its day 5 of having the pipe in and its only marginally better! still got all the symptoms i had from day one! not been able to work or do owt except pester you guys on here, how the docs consider this an acceptable form of treatment is beyond me, dont know when i will be back to work (day job or truck!) had to lower my intake of painkillers cos it was just messing me up and my system too, i think this would be a great form of interrogation for criminals and terrorists, a few days of this and you will be willing to do absolutely anything to make it stop! like i said, enuf of me, ive highjacked the forum enuf, as for the lemon and olive oil treatment, i bet the stones would tend to come upwards along with your lunch and anything else inside you!!!! i will keep that as a last resort i think lol ________ VAPORIZORS
