How heavy?

Does anyone know the approximate weight of an 85 Chevy Silverado, SWB, 2WD? I can't read the factory stickers on the door. I'm about to strap on some power, and put my truck on a diet if it's too heavy.

it should have the scale weight on your registation paper for your truck.

Hey, thanks Karl. If anyone is curious, NADA stated the weight to be 3486 lbs. I was guessing 3600, but lighter is better to a certain point.

Tech1, the fourth digit of the VIN is "D".
