Timing Yes Martinus ~ Same as any other time you replace the contact points or remove & replace the distributor , the timing must ALWAYS be checked and adjusted . The last time I installed an ' Ignitor ' , the timing was 45? out so it took some fiddling before the timing was bang spot on and the rotor pointed to the correct # 1 plug wire position . -Nate
Advize Nate thanks very much fore the good advice on the matter. A merry X-mass to you and Your famely , we wish you all the best of Luck and a good health after you finally got Your wanted neck surgery. Merry christmas ! You're welcome Martinus ; As always it's very simple so just dot every " i " and cross every " t " and your Vintage truck will run better than everyone else's , even if it's the dreaded and embarrassing Brand "F" . Enjoy your Aqua Vita , still no damn mince pie to be found here .
If you'll settle for mince cookies SWMBO made a batch. Drop me an address in a PM and I'll send a few on Nate.
