How to Shine up a Alum Intake

I am building a hot rod motor and would like to shine it up or polish so to speek my aluminum intake, can i use a liquid or maybe sand blast, gimme some suggestions. What about painting it?

What about Muraric Acid, i have some here and i know people use it to clean aluminum pots and pans, hehe
