    235 engine overhaul

    Volker

    Some earlyer posts on the forum by Nate and also replys from others gives you plenty of information. I looked it up and its al there. I would use the Offenhauser dual carb inlet or the bended dual inlet type (Aluminium) i am not shore the name of right now? But recommend you to keep your single exhaust system because of the engine power reducing with the 235 CI engine.

    Good luck Martinius.

    1954 235 C.I. Engine

    Volker ;

    Better take a moment to research the cams for a 1954 235 as many parts for that engine do not interchange with the 1955 ~ 1962 235 engines , I'd hate to see you buy the wrong camshaft .

    if it's different , no worries as Chevy had a 261 C.I. engine in 1954 , just ask for that .

    I corrected my earlier misspelling , thanx for the heads up ! :p
