Install one piece door glass

Does anyone have a good guide for installation of the one piece door window glass, regulator, and channels? I looked for a previous discussion but haven't found anything. I'd like to know if I install the channel, glass, and regulator, in that sequence, or if there are any helpful tips you all have to offer. The assembly manual is for a Chevrolet, and this is a GMC ;o)

Seems like on the 50 I built, I installed the channel, then the regulator, then slip in the glass, catching the wheels in the lower channel of the window, then rotate the glass to upright and slide up into window opening. Now manipulate the mechanism until the the regulator shaft will peep through the hole in the door. It has been a while since I have done this.....

Thanks. That sounds like a practical approach. It's something like what I had in mind as well. I'll let you know how it goes.
