Thank you Zig, you are always a positive influence. Here a few more things I have done. Been a little busy and haven't done as much as I have lately Received my light bezels but had to cut them down to fit my truck Finished my gas line to my mechanical pump Also received my flush mounted LED lights for my roll pan
Also finished my tilt bed floor also getting ready to build a fiberglass console for the first time, made the template out of cardboard Then the biggy, lol. Some said it would not work, some said they don't like the rubber and look. But yeah this is what I like My wheels and tires. 20 x 9 Octane fuels and 255/45/20 420s. nittos
Thanks guys, I'm doing my best to get things done Here's a little more I've been doing. Have an idea what my truck is going to look like Found some really nice running boards in perfect condition
Thank you Roadster, here's another one I also started building my center console once it's made I plan on fiberglassing it.
47-53 Splash aprons with 47-53 bed on top of 54 frame Console done with shifter linkage in Welded my hood together And putting my engine together getting ready to start it for the first time. Hook up my throttle linkage
I LOVE IT!!!!!! Love the console you have going on there! Awesome work!!! And of course, who the heck doesn't like CHROME! Beautiful power plant!
Well could not help myself. Lol thinking about all the body work I had ahead of me I decided to buy the fenders. Bought both sides brand new from a guy I know for $250 could not pass it up. Installed my power steering pump and after 4 trips to the parts store got all my belts to run the engine
I also finished my gas line. Tried to run it the traditional way, but ran into a problem with the A/C compressor being above the intake so I had to find another way. I made my own setup to accommodate the dual outlet I had with the Holley 570 Street Avenger, so this is what I came up with. Also I Mounted the MSD setup and cut all my spark plug wires and installed the radiator
Couple more pictures of my custom setup I made. -6 an fitting with steel braided line , Holley regulator and gauge. Go's so show you, if you run into a problem there's always another way to get the job done. I just did research on the net to see all the options I had and that's when I came up with this solution.. Pretty happy the way it came out.
Mounted my battery and made some A/C vents K&N filter Mounted a flex a lite 16" electric fan. Fab some mounts for it. Hopefully starting my engine tomorrow for the first time. I ordered a flexible hose for my radiator but won't be here till next week so I went to the junk yard a found a rubber radiator hose for $1. Lol
