intake manifold

im switching fom a 2 barrel to a 4 barrel on my 283. i was looking on summit racing and there are so many to choose from. what do you guys recommend?

I have heard several good thinks about the Elderbock perfomer pacakge
I used the 650 carb and had great results with it Kilroy was here!!!

Kilroy is correct.. Edelbrock is also AMERICAN Made !! I would use a 600 cfm carb on a 283..

Edelbrock performer intake with edelbrock performer 600CFM will give you good results. If you have a 283 order 2701, 27011, 27014 intake (standard, polished, endurashine) and 1406 for the carb with electric choke. You can also save a couple bucks and order 9906 which is a reman 1406.
