When I injured my ankle 10 years ago, and while being in a recliner for more than 6 months between 2 surgeries, I let him eat off of my plate. He was my protector. I was so doped up, I didn't realize what was happening or was amused at the situation. He will NOT eat normal dog food since. And later on since the divorce, I feed him very healthy food which makes me eat the same. The vet techs are jealous when they hear what he gets. I've tried brushing.....nope. He doesn't do chew treats but usually hides them in the furniture or in the backyard. As far as full blood and urine tests, he is very healthy... and mischievous, just won't eat kibble. Again.....my fault.
I can dig it . Once they get hungry enough they'll eat Kibble . It's hot here so I spent yesterday afternoon in my back yard in my pain chair with one pup snoozing on my lat and t'other occasionally bringing me his ball to throw....
re-assembled the heater box that was re-painted last weekend. Installed new 12v motor and heater core. And started the brake line placement. Made front flex line mounts and re-used rear from c4. Waiting on rotors and calipers. Supply shortages everwhere are literally throwing a wrench into everything.
A late update.... until spring. Tried to beat the weather on painting, but failed. Was on the last wipe down before primer and the rain started. Temps are in the 40's now. It's all packed in the shop until warmer weather returns.
Since the weather turned up here, I've been tinkering on a idea I started a year ago. Found a 50's 5 channel CB radio (Johnson Viking Messenger 1). Gutted the underside. Mounted LED's in the tube socket bases (I'm just old enough to have seen these things glow in their day) so they glow when on. Left the old parts visible, but had to set the channel switch where the old selector was. Not too visible. Wired in place where the old guts were under the tube platform a Midland CB circa '76. Fully functional.
I love the LED's ! . I have a 196? Johnson CB in my garage, last time I checked it still worked fine .
