K5 towing capacity

Will my 84' K5 Blazer 1/2 ton 4x4 350/TH350/3.73:1/32" tires tow a 56 GMC farm truck(4,980 lbs) on a trailer (~1000 lbs)? What is the rated towing capacity? I will be towing it over a couple of mountains between San Francisco and S. Oregon.

multiply the engines rated horsepower by 35 and subtract the weight of the truck passengers and cargo. The result is the approximate ideal maximum weight you should tow, although a numerically higher axle ratio can help compensate for heavier weight.
