Robert is in Southern California . I agree : there are always so many unwanted stock rear ends and front axles that are not stylish or hip enough that get tossed in the scrap pile, a sad waste . I've seen good used corporate GM truck axles dumped by the road side because no one wants them .
Before GPS we sold all our axle shafts to a survey company. They would last for years even in acidic soil and were east to locate with a metal detector.
