Leather Seat Option 1949 Suburban

I'm just starting a restoration on a 1949 Suburban I bought from the original owner. It has every item it came out of the factory with. Original seats. all three with original spanish grain vinyl.

I have heard that there was a leather seat option in 1949 but I cannot confirm this.

Anybody have any clues

You probabpy already have this info by now but for the 3116 Suburban there was a leather trim option (option 361F) according to the truck data book for Chevrolet salesmen.
