Light duty towing

Does anybody have any hitch size/manufacturer/part number recommendations for a 1966 C30 Panel? Figure on erring on the safe side, so looking to install a 3000-5000lb capacity hitch, even though I'm only towing a 1500lb boat/trailer.

Also, to maintain the sex appeal of the truck, is there a removable hitch that might work? That way I could hide it in shame when I'm not pulling the boat.

If you can't find a "bolt on" type, try a blacksmith or welding shop. They can fabricate and install a custom hitch.

I know it's a ancient rule that every problem will go away if you throw enough money at it, just trying to keep from throwing too much money at it...
