    Here you go, Fed!

I didn't do anything that extreme, but a couple of years ago I went to the lumber yard to get some 8 ft. 2x4's. Of course they were out of them and sold me 10 fts for the same price. When I got to the barn, guess what? They were out of those and gave me 12 fts. Mucho fun with a 6 ft. bed [/QUOTE]

Now there's a manly load and a pretty grille to boot!

    Ehh~hemm...

    Um, Ken~ That's cheating. Wolf's truck is only a 3/4 ton. But it's load is equal! :p

    Thanks for the photos, Russ!

I'm just sorry that the lightest of loads seems to slam your truck to the ground~

OH I have seen that look so many times. Especially with that load of wet wet pea gravel!! And the loads of wet compost. And the same thing at Lowes getting all my wood to finish my basement. From my rough calcs a 2x4 weighs about 1.21lbs/ft times 8 ft is about 9.7lbs times 225 boards gets me 2183lbs. As you can see that load didn't squat it down too much.
Here is a link to the thread of my hauling. https://talk.classicparts.com/showthread.php?t=12386

And some pics for fun!!! I took the old truck to Lowes again the other day. Full to the top of the cab with left over insulation from finishing my basement. It's so fun getting all the looks and waves. I had an older gentlemen stop in the road in his camery and roll down his window and give me a big thumbs up. I felt honored. My wife was with me too and she was just loving it. We love to take drives together.
