Lowering components

I picked up an 85 C10 and will be lowering it. I'm not sure if it will be a 3/4 or a 5/7.

I know I will be needing drop spindles, lowering springs, shock absorbers, c notch kit, and axel flip kit. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Will I need specific control arms for a lower as well? These will be getting replaced regardless, but I'm not sure if I can stick with OE or if they need to be specific for lowering.

Be very careful when selecting a c-notch kit. They are not all created equal. See the link in my signature line below.

2" spindles, 3" springs, rear flip, notch and dropped shocks. Same on 76 and 79.
