need a 114" wheel base

Howdy everyone. i have a 57 3100 i would like to put on a 4x4 frame and drive train. has anyone used a blazer or stepside and what are their wheel base. I have found a 83 blazer, i can't seemto find any stats

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Feb-01-05 AT 10:03 PM (CST)]Not certain by how much, but i know the Blazer is a shorter WB than a pickup. I believe 106" or 108" in that area. I've seen it done with a '65 pick up, on a blazer frame. There was no hiding the difference.

The '63-'72 short trucks sat on a 115" WB. Try to find a 4x4 frame from one of those. 1/2" off center in each wheel housing wouldnt be noticeable.
