Need help with a 1964 chevy c10...

Hey there,

I just got a 1964 chevy c10 pickup. It has a 307 engine with a 400 transmission... The engine is leaking from the intake manifold and the tranny is stuck on 1st gear. Anyone out there know what parts from other vehicles fit the truck? I want to know if i can put a 350 engine with the same tranny... I also want to convert the front drum brakes to disc brakes... someone help!!!

any small block Chevy motor will replace the 307, also the 400 will be a real tough trans but it will rob any economy from the motor you put in, what are your goal for the trucks duty? a DD or ?
