need shifter for my 62 want advice

I have 62 fleetside and I'm wanting to put a three speed in the floor. I believe the trans is probably original . I'm thinking Hurst Indy , but the height ,looks and operation are all important to me . Thanks LOST

all You got to do is be able to get some material (steel rod) and make the shifter leaver taller than the one that comes with the kit. you should bend it and probably flaten on end of the shifter so you can drill mounting holes in it easier.
you could make a really tall shifter, or you could go for the just right for you lenght. when i put my muncie 4spd in my truck i'm going to make a shifter for it and it is going to be a real tall shifter.for that different look.
