'60 Impalas HOLY COW ! We used to cut those things up because they were simply impossible to sell . You prolly don't want to know what we did one night to Bill's '60 sedan with 235 & three on the tree ~ it was bone stock and the night finished up with us pushing it back up Bill's driveway with Mike's battered '64 Lincoln Continental and bashing in the entire _pristine_ rear end , smashed the taillights and scraped the trunk trims right off the car... I'd never be able to part with something like that after making it so right. BUT, if it saves it from ending up like those that the Boop's dad saw on that flatbed, then build and sell-build and sell!!! Keep breathing life into these old ADs. Especially old ugly ones like those panels! In case no one wants it...
Panels & Suburbans @ Pomona to-day , there were several of each for sale , both runners and ' projects ' (junkers) plus some very nice Barrio Specials , for about $12K you could pick one up that''s been taken down to the frame and re-built , new paint and everyhting . couldn't do it for that and they had all three seats too . javascript:add_smilie(":thumbsup!:","smid_36")
