New rearend

    That would be 3/4 of an inch, thank you........yes, that is how she sits now.

    It actually comes up quite a ways, looks like a mild lowering job when aired up.

    I was contemplating moving the running boards down to fill the gap.....

    Dont be fooled guys, its a trick of the eye, if you look carefully you can see he has actually raised the garage floor and not lowered his truck!:p

    I missed the meaning of swmbo...

    I'm gonna have to mini tub the bed to fit the tires when aired out. I'll use trailer fenders and only cut out the first skinny board. I also have to move the upper control am bolt out a little to get the tires straight at ride hight. I'm going to use some 1/2" spacers to get a little more clearance also.

    I get that reaction at Lowes all the time. I haul a bed full of paints regularly.

    Old Truck Usage

    Yeah , I hear you , the last restored pickup I had was a 1931 'F' brand Model A , I used to take it to the monthly club meets fully loaded with greasy junk engines , trannies and assorted scrap metal , the old duffers about crapped thier pants... :D

    As you said : hey , it's a TRUCK (note clever use of Chevy Blue there) ain't it ?? :rolleyes:

    Its alive!!!!!!!!!! Drives pretty well...Going to goodguys tomorrow to flog it on the autocross course. I'll take videos.
