Name is Mike and just wanted to introduce myself. Currently restoring a 1964 C10 short box. Ended up doing a frame up restoration on it, which just so happens to be my first one ever. Growing up my dad owned a 64 and drag raced/showed it off. Lots of memories that I'll be able to hand down to my daughter!

Welcome to a great forum with lots of knowledgeable guys who are willing to help. Your project reminds me of mine. A basket case I bought in July of 13. I took it, a 66 short fleetside, to the painter this morning. Mine had lots of rust like yours and required many of the same replacement parts. Being able to weld saved me (and you) mega bucks. It has been great fun though. I could not have gotten to where I am without help from forum members

PS: I see you've already learned NOT to get POR15 on you....it has to wear off
