Newb with 47 3600

Ok I just got a 47 3600 last night and new to this whole seen, it's all there runs and drives 216 4spd etc pretty solid truck. Plans are to get it low and cruise it only problem is I like the 3100 short beds better

I like that truck - what solid looking machine!
That long bed will grow on you - may even consider a side mount (although it was not available til 1953), but you will not need an indented fender.
Enjoy that as a driver. This site holds a wealth of knowledge so all you need to do is ask.

Thanks all.. it is a pretty good solid truck the guy I got it from had the owners manual and a booklet with everything spent on this truck from 47-84 from how much gas was put in to how much it cost and all the repairs

Seriously, a long bed looks pretty darn nice, and if you plan on using it as a truck, you can haul more stuff with the gate up, instead of down. (plywood, sheetrock, studs)

That's a beautiful truck ol chebby I want mine that low.. thinking of making it 6 lug though so I have more rear axle options but not 100 % though sold I like driving it to much to shut her down to tear her apart til I'm ready to lay rocker

I did the basics in about 4 months, been playing ever since. Fatman superlow M2 front, 95 T bird IRS, leftover air system from the minitruck days.
