Howdy Gents....
Looking around here and thought I'd say Howdy... been looking for info / ideas for a couple of way over due projects...
I'm Old and have let these idol for to long. a 1962 Chevy Short bed , Step Side and a 1953 Chevy 2 door Sedan...
I'll try and post a couple Pictures soon , and include the important info soon...Great Site..

62 Step Side

Rich , Thanks for the welcome....
My 62...44,000 original miles
Tan with a white top
235 with a 3/4 cam and polished Offy manifold and 2 Carters,painted Red
Exhaust will be split or cast split exhaust added,soon
Motor has been ground /sanded painted,Red
Motor has the usual chrome but wanting to install the finned alum accents
Frame has been stripped and Painted ,Black
Front is a Torsion Bar with Dropped Spindles and 80's Disc Brakes
Have a Powder coated Cadillac Rear ready to install ,with Disc brakes and 3.73 Posi
Saginaw 4 speed from a Vega
The truck needs some body work and paint ,with the rear half stripped and needs finish.
I have a new oak bed with polished hardware waiting for install.
I've had some medical issues ,hopefully I can get this back on the road this winter...I'll post some pics as soon as I can.

Although after seeing others Ideas and Trucks....LOL...There are other changes I'd like to do.But I need to get it together and drivable first.

The 62 Project has been in this Mid State of completion for awhile now... I just started working on it again... This winter should at least get it to a point where we can Cruise some this summer..
The 53 ...Not sure about it , my son and I built this for him to drive in High School and I drove it for awhile after that ...Future Project ?, maybe ... or Maybe sell it and use the funds on the 62...we'll see..
