[updated:LAST EDITED ON Mar-04-05 AT 05:44 PM (CST)]Hi everyone I am new to the forum and the restoration game as well. I have recently bought myself a 1966 chevy Stepside Pick up... 3 on the tree... only 20,727 original miles... everything is original on it ... it was kept in a barn and of course needs all new wiring harness and new wood on the bed.... other than that it is pretty well in one piece... She runs good... Needs the original steering wheel if anyone knows where I might find one please let me know... also needs original bench seat.... this one needs some help
She is in real good condition considering the age... Needs a good paint job and a lot of TLC which I am giving to her as we speak... I have replaced the bulbs in the instrument panel... and the cigarette lighter.. and the headlamp switch.... now she has a coat of primer on her that I did the weekend I got her to keep her as protected as possible until I am ready for the final thing ( the paint job) I am wanting to keep her as original as possible but the original paint won't do for me ... She is gonna be a royal purple marble looking or maybe even the chamelean paint not quite sure yet... She has the original straight 6 250 ci in her I have bought a valve cover gasket for it and plan to put that on in the next few days... Anyway if anyone can help me with the items that I need I would greatly appreciate it .... Thanks Studmuffin66
