nv4500 behind a 216?

anybody ever put a nv4500 five speed behind a 216 in a truck.

yes I know about the clossed drive shaft conflict. I will using an open drive shaft.

but what about the front bearing retainer diameter and the tranny to bell housing bolt pattern.

does anybody know of a shop that does the machining nessessarry or is an adapter available?

has anybody done this?

It is possible and it would be a great transmission for our trucks, especially with the overdrive gear. Check this thread out on the stovebolt forum
