OIL LINE ON A 228 MOTOR

I would like to know where the oil line from the gauge to the block goes. I'm lost and need some help. Tom

There should be a plug by the oil pan in the middle of the block.It is used for the gauge.

Tom,
I have a 1950 228 and the oil line from the Guage was atteched to a metal line that went up the left side of the block to the front and attached on the front of the block in a "T" fitting at the front of the oil gallery. I have not found any reproduction lines and had to make my own.
