I doubt it Cowboy. Although many of the specs for the GMC "Toro-Flow" V6 are the same, such as crank size, etc. the block has some differences. For one the diesel has a Balance shaft in the block (turns off the timing gears) and provisions for the injector pump to mount and engage with the timing gears.
When I had a GMC V6 I was always curious about putting one of them in my 65 as I was kinda a diesel fan. The smallest V6 diesel my book shows is the 351 cu in and only puts out 130 hp.
