I had not driven my C10 for a couple of weeks. I took it to the local hardware store a noticed that my speedo was not registering MPH. So, when I got home I slid underneath it and noticed that the collar that I think helps retain it to the 3 sp manual transmission was loose. I tightened it up and did a test drive. I noticed that the odometer was working but the MPH was not. After a few calibrated slaps on the top of the dash and knuckle knocks on the front of the gauge cluster front, it slowly did start to register my MPH. Not sure if my calibrated adjustments helped or it was a coincidence that it started to work. But it seemed to be running much slower than my actual speed and I think it is still showing 30 MPH as it sits next to the garage. I had noticed previously that the needle seemed a bit "sticky" when going down the road.

    Any suggestions?
