I just put a deposit down on a 71 GMC K-20 pickup. It has 56K original miles and what the owner claims is an LT1 corvette engine from the factory. I don't have my hands on it yet so I can't confirm, but the current owner claims its on the build sheet. It does have the LT1 Rams horn exhaust manifolds though. While I cannot confirm or deny this, my questions are was it possible to order something like that back then, and if so, how rare would it be? I Can't wait to dig into it and see if it indeed does!

I'm thinking B.S. on a high dollar truck that prolly looks very nice .

In addition to the easily faked build sheet , there's also a " SPID " glued to the inside of the glove box door , also easily faked .

    If you like it , no worries , right ? :) .

How about some photos ? .

It's not an LT1, it's either an L-46 or an L-48. I will know and post pics next weekend when I get my hands on it.
